Text: 1 chronicle 12:1-3,32

CRITERIA TO PLEASE GOD:
1. Seek God by faith.1 cor 2:5
2. Walking in the spirit. Psalm91:1, Col 2:9.
3. Walking in spirit and not in flesh but in submission and accordance of the will of God.

WHY SHOULD WE PLEASE GOD:
1) The coming Judgment
2) Our love for God
3)  That we may abound in God Roman 1:11.
4) Dimension of power:1 peter 5:8. Three dimension
i. Energy
ii. Manifestation
iii. The power itself
 
WHAT TO DO TO PLEASE GOD:
1) pleasing God is accorded in obeying his commandments and doing it in love.
For us to please God we must be poor and contrite Isaiah 66:2.

2) We please God by living a life of faith,
 Faith is the currency of the kingdom,you      can't access the kingdom without faith.(Hebrew 11:12).

3) Concentrate on loving him.
There are four dimensions of love which are
i. Passion: The prove of passion is pursuit.
ii. Sacrifice (John 3:16).
iii. Pleasure (Delight).
iv Commitment.

4) Praise God's name (psalm 69:30).

5) Be spiritually minded (Roman 8:6-8).

6) Fear God (psalm 104).

7) Study and follow the example of the Lord.

8) Be a cheerful giver.

9) Worship him in spirit and truth.
